Pillow win the Best New Start Up business in local awards
Pillow has won the award for “BEST STARTUP BUSINESS” in this years Ayrshire Chamber Annual Business Awards. After a rigorous selection procedure, Pillow Property Partners Ltd beat off strong competition from 3 other Ayrshire businesses.
Over 450 guests attended the most prestigious night in the local business calendar at Ayr Race Course on Friday 12th October. This year we were delighted to welcome Elaine C Smith, one of Scotland’s best known personalities and entertainers as host for the evening.
The CEO of Pillow Scott Weir said “This was an amazing recognition for all the hard work the team has done over the lest 2 years. I’m so proud of every one of them”. ” As Pillow continues its expansion across the UK, this award will show potential clients all over the country that Pillow is a strong property management business”.
Val Russell, Chief Executive at Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “My congratulations to all the winners at this years’ Ayrshire Business Awards, what a thoroughly great night it was. Chatting with the judging panel it was obvious just how difficult a job they had in selecting a winner from each category due to the extremely high standard of entry. I’d like to thank all of the judges led by Chairs, Walter Smith and Gail Anderson for giving their time and expertise to the Ayrshire Business Awards. Thanks also to our sponsors for their continued support in making the Awards the continued success it is.”
The event, hosted by Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also raised over £7000 for local charity Whiteleys Retreat from the charity raffle and a donation from the Santander Foundation.
